Usage
/sgi help shows every available chat command Example Video - Thanks to Xara82 for this video!
Features SuperScan
SuperScan is the main function to be using with this AddOn. SuperScan will scan every player on your server and check whether they are in a guild or not. If they are not they will be put in the invite queue, and wait for an invite. Starting SuperScan will cause the options frame to be hidden, and a smaller frame will show you the information you need. SuperScan is now quiet! It will perform its services without you noticing a thing (except a growing queue!). Thorough Search
There is now an option to do a more thorough superscan, for those of you who play on heavily populated servers and it is activated by checking its designated checkbox. This mode will scan in smaller steps and optionally add races to the search. This search can possibly take MUCH longer than a normal scan. There are currently no visual options to this feature, it has to be modified by /slash commands (it uses the normal limits):
/sgi inter # /sgi race # /sgi class # /sgi test2
inter reprecents the interval between the searches 1-80. Set to 5 would result in 1-5,6-10,11-15 etc. race reprecents the level at which you wish to start using races in the search. This increases the who search by a factor of 6 per step. class reprecents th level at which you wish to start using classes in the search. This increases the who seach by a factor of 10 per step. test2 creates and prints your current search table into the chat, along with estimated execution time. Note that race and class stacks, if both are used it will increase the who search by a factor of 60 per step.
Inviting Players
In order for a player to be invited to your guild you have to do one of the following two things:
You can press the Invite: # button located on either the options frame, or the small SuperScan timer. Pressing this button will invite the first player in the queue to your guild. You can also pick the players you want to invite by pressing Choose Invites. This will show a frame with all the currently queued players along with some information about them. By left clicking on a player’s name you will invite them, while right clicking will remove them from the queue.
Blacklisting
If there are players that you never want to invite to you guild you can blacklist them. There are 3 ways a player can be blacklisted.
The first way is to manually blacklist them with the command /sgi blacklist name, which will black list the player name. The second way is to enable Automatic blacklisting, which will blacklist a player automatically after a certain number of declines, the default is 3. To change this, use this command: /sgi blacktime #. Where # is the number of times a player can decline before being blacklisted. The last way is when the AddOn shares the list with other users within your guild. Fully automatic, so this is nothing to worry about.
Lockout
In order to not spam other players there’s a built in lockout system in SGI. Once a player has been invited or removed from the queue they won’t be added again for a configurable period of time. This time is configurable on the options frame and can be set to:
1 day 2 days 4 days 1 week 2 weeks
Because of the way this lockout works, it will reset unfortunatley on every new year. Any player put on lockout on new years eve have the potential of being invited again on new years day, no matter what lockout they were on. Invite Whisper
If you wish you can send a whisper to the player you are inviting. In order for it to be sent you need to check the checkbox on the main options frame. There’s a pretty dull default message that you can use, but if you want to make it more personal you can customize it (max 256 letters) by pressing the button on the options frame and following the instructions there. The whisper can be used in 3 different ways, chosen by the dropdown menu in the main options frame.
Whisper after inviting (default) - The whisper will only go out if the invite was successfully sent Whisper and invite - The whisper is sent to the player every time. Only Whisper - The whisper goes out, but not the invite. In this mode SGI will not invite any players, you have to manually invite the players you whisper.
Normal Filtering Limit
The most basic filtering available is to limit the levels of the players you wish to invite. You can change the limit by scrolling with your mouse over the designated area in the options frame. Changing this limit will affect the time it takes to complete a SuperScan. Advanced Filters
Advanced filter gives more specificity to the pickier guild masters. In order to use this feature you have to enable the checkbox on the options frame, and then press Advanced Filtering. In this new window you choose what filters to use (more than one at a time is possible). If there are no filters you have to create a new one by pressing New Filter. Here you can choose what your filter will do. Do note that in order for a player to match a filter they have to match all parts of the filter. Filter mode
The filter mode specifies if you want to invite players that match the filter, or players that don’t match the filter. Level filter
The level filter is what it sounds like, it filters the players according to their level. A players will match the level filter if they are between or at the selected numbers. This level filter is a local filtering, just active within the created filter, resulting in that this limit will not affect the time of the SuperScan. Class filter
The class filter allows you to choose which classes to (not) invite.
